Permits must be obtained before fishing; they are not available bankside. A valid Environmental Agency Licence must be shown prior to purchasing any Permit. They are not transferable and must be produced when asked for by any member of the Association. Anglers without a Permit or Licence will be asked to leave the Fishery.

A copy of the Fishery Rules is handed out with each permit.

** A Student Permit is only available to Students studying in Aberystwyth or a local angler who spends part of the year in full-time education. A current Student Union Card must be produced in order for a Student permit to be issued. 

* Youth is defined as being a secondary school pupil at the time of the Permit being issued. Primary school children go free.


Permits can be obtained directly from the Secretary, Peredur Eklund, at 42 Erw Goch, Waun Fawr, Aberystwyth, SY23 3AZ, or by post from the same address enclosing a stamped address envelope and cheque. Telephone 01970 623021.

Comments 

1. Any salmon caught before the 16 June must be returned with minimum injury and minimum delay.
2. Fly refers to artificial fly of less than 5g in weight
3. Permitted baits include worm and prawn. Banned baits include maggots, pupae or non-aquatic larvae and
